Go check out the color chart....the new colors aren't up there yet, but there are new samples, and it looks like new pickguard colors?

Hey! Are those *white* p-90's on the Blue Pearl example?

Ok, I don't want to tread on any toes here, but speaking as a professional photographer, these photos could be better.

The lighting is uneven, there are too many hotspots, and the guitars are positioned oddly in some cases. The lighting and positioning is also inconsistent. Some of them don't even look like photos.

Now that you mention it, Luke Blue

Looks like silver to me. Might as well be called luke brown, luke orange, luke red, luke white, luke green, luke yellow, etc;)

I like the reflection of the great out doors you can see in the Carbon Blue Pearl when you look at the enlarged picture... :D

Really, these things look like they were taken by someone with a consumer digital camera while the guitars were hanging on the wall... You can't see any "burst" in the Cherry Burst, the Trans Red looks far too orange (nothing like the Trans Red on my Super Sport), the Luke Blue is silver, and I would imagine that the Lava Pearl probably isn't actually as orangey as I'm seeing it either... Frankly, it looks really amateur; I hope they didn't actually PAY someone for this!

On the upside, some of the new pickguard materials look pretty cool! Dig the Black Ice and the Abalone!

Yeah Jimi, I was thinking the same thing...it looks like it was done in-house.

If whoever shot them is reading this - don't feel too bad! Shooting product correctly is hard to do!

Having said that, I think EB deserves a bit better. It also doesn't bode well for the gaps in the "build-a-guitar" page.

A lot of them look like the same pictures that were up before, only turned 90 degrees and showing a close up of the body.

The oranges, reds and golds all seem to look the same to me. They all kind of bleed together. :(

I'd like to see a nice Orange Metalic, or Electric Blue Metalic more on the flake side. :D

The MM website really needs an overhall. The MM site doesn't do the product justice.
They told me quite a while ago that they were working on it. The EB site looks and works great.

The gold and orange look similar on the chart, but look much different when viewing in person. The gold looks like a great shade of yellow to me. I can't speak to the red, since I've only seen pictures. In pictures, it does seem close to the orange.

man, a orage metallic flake would be outstanding. i wouldn't be able to resist.

Estin,

Yah the flake really makes the MM paint jobs outstanding!!!! :)

:D My Silhouette Special is a Fuscha Sparkle and when I saw it man I just had to have it.:D

I'll take a couple of digital pics tonight, but the pictures never really do it total justice.

I am by no means a photographer, but the few pics I have taken of guitars for E-(vil)-bay, especially MM's, is TOUGH! The reflections are a bear with the high polish lacquer they put on guitars nowadays.

But i f they did pay someone, they should know how to do it right.

Keep up the good work MM! :D
