The D2's outsold the original version by a small margin. If I remember correctly the original window was extended to three weeks. I'll get a rough tally up soon, then once they all are built I can give a firm count.

I think the very high price tag is what makes Pete and others skeptical that any were ordered. We haven't really seen any otherwise pre DD2.

Maybe, but you figure that the doubleneck's were around the same price as the Koa's, its a strong possibility that a few were ordered. We'll just have to wait and see.

Ok let me get on this i did not special order one for myself, but the dealer i go through did and when i found out they placed an order for a JP6 for there store i gave them a deposit to secure the guitar when it comes in.

Yup. GC Manhattan has a white one as well. Drum City Guitar Land had a black one too.

I kind of meant people who bought them, not ones produced or on sale at shops. I just meant the price is so high for them, and they're such specialty pieces that they don't see many sales or people playing them around, so I'm surprised that anyone would order a DD2 in one... let alone two!

But I'm excited to eventually see pictures of said double neck Dargie. It'll probably be, I don't know, twice as cool as any other Dargie.
