Nothing that you guys don't already know, but I got a tribute up to the sparkle Sterling here:

Sparkle Thing

I think I'm going to have to replace the output jack....I did all the usual things one can do an output jack and it began to crackle again today.

You know, that boy really should have mentioned some of the problems that bass had.

Oh well. A labor of love, and the setup is just about there now.

I fell in love with it yesterday. it's gorgeous and plays great. Mmmmmmm.

It's the Fee Waybill of Sterlings.

And I almost have it just right as far as the set-up goes....it's close.

Next time I come out to see you I want you to play my Bongo and see how you like the setup. I'd love to have a go at that Sterling but you do have it real close to what I like.

But then I remember it's what YOU like.

I'm so selfish sometimes.

I'd love to have at your Bongo.

As far as set-up goes, I think the Sapphire Black Bongo - amongst my basses - has about the best ever. There is something about that bass.

Damn Jack, I shoulda bid on that. I got the black sparkle ray instead but its no where near as flashy as that sterling. I believe I'm third in line for dibs on that sucker so you be sure to let me know if and when it needs to leave good ol camp bovine.

You looping the cable through the strap Jack? Or are you jumping up and down on it without doing so?
