Just wanted to give my thumbs up on the update here at the forum. Great job... ;)
 
Very cool! I especially like the "quick reply" option... Nice to know all those PHP courses paid off :D
 
I was at work when I saw the changed look and thought cool!!!

I'm with Jimi-D nice and quick.

Way to go.

There is one thing that I liked from the old setup that this doesn't have. The currently active users are listed at the bottom of the page, it was much easier to see who was active just by looking at the top of the screen. When a page loads it dumps you to the top of the screen.

Just when I get used to the old way, they up and change it. Oh well, I have nothing better to do!

I like that it makes me FEEL smarter. It has already improved my spelling. I think the new board is great! I mean, I have already reduced my bed wetting since this new board came out...


Sorry, it has been a long day and right now, bed wetting seems hilarious to me...

Am I the only one on these boards that just has one guitar? Sheesh.... Oh sure, I have the mando and the banjo, and a 12 string and classical, but those don't really count. They are not made by Ernie Ball so they are not represented on this board.

So while writing this thread, I click on the "Insert Image" icon ( The one that looks like two mountains and a sun.....Hey that's what my logo looks like too)
Then it prompts me (since I am in guided mode) for the text and does this.

Oh! I get it. The picture already has to exist on the www before you can put it on.

That's it Norm. You have to have the picture hosted on a web server somewhere else, and then you supply a link to the pic and the software creates an Image tag in HTML so that the picture is displayed on the page by your browser...

What I can't do is put in a picture that is saved to this server. If I copy image location of a picture I have already uploaded it won't call it in .jpg form. Rats :(

Jimi, you make me sad with your 5 axis, 2 Albert Lee's, and 2 Silos. However it would make me very happy :D if you "loaned" me one for an extended period of time ;)
