Well I’m under house arrest today, you know waiting for the UPS man. I’m not sure this internet tracking of a shipment is a good idea; I’ve watched my 85lb box start in NV, then go to CA, stop in TX for a day, then arrive in NC last night, only to worry that I might have to leave for a minute today, miss the man and have to wait till Monday.

This is more keyboard stuff; I can only imagine the torture of waiting for my lefty Bongo shipment. :D

I'm doing the same thing today. But I"m having my SR sent to work. I also think the online tracking is a mixed blessing. Why can't they ship my bass instead of leaving it in Minneapolis for the day. I live in Fargo, ND by the way. It would have been sweet if I'd gotten my bass a day early. I take it you bought an amp Psycho Ward.

Yes it's an amp, a Motion Sound Pro 145 (Lesile) and low and behold it just arrived! I'm putting it thru the test and this thing screams! I've own several Lesile's over the years, but this thing kills them all! It's clean, it's dirty, it's louder than holy hell! :D  :D

I feel your pain, this amp arrived at 6:03 at the GSO terminal and I had a keyboard gig last night, so I called out there and asked if I could come and pick it up. They said that they have to attempt to deliver it first before I could pick it up in person...

I think more ear damage is in my future.

LOL!

I'm on house arrest next monday for my EUB, and then again in August for my black saphire 5 string Bongo.

I went to track my EUB yesterday and freaked because the UPS site said, "no information available". I immediately called the place I purchased it from, and as I was on the phone, the screen changed. They uploaded the info the very minute I called and the screen updated itself. Freaky. Not sure why I'm mentioning this.

Hey Joe, what EUB did you end up getting?

I see a Dean Pace very reasonably priced on ebay is why I ask.

Ahem.

(Yes, I gave up.)

I can't believe you gave up! I am going to play mine again at the Taste of Dallas festival in the West End in July. I played it at the CD release party too. I really sounds good on a couple of tunes we do and it has a really cool vibe. I had a lot of people asking me about it in between sets. I think I'll take the blue SR5 for the show tonight and leave the Bongo and Pace at home. We'll only play for about 45 minutes for this one and I still haven't put the flats on the Bongo.

Man, that reminds me of a time I waited all day (until about 7:30 pm) for a guitar to arrive by UPS. Usually the UPS guy showed up between 2 and 2:30, for for some reason he decided to show up late in the evening, during the 30 minutes of the entire day that I had to leave the house. That was a friday night, and the following monday was a holiday, so I had to wait until tuesday. I got to yell my favorite word over and over: "BOGUS!!!"

Sorry, I'm trying hard to tone down the lefty stuff.

I guess it doesn't bother me because I can commiserate with you on being left handed on a lot of things but I play bass right handed. I learned that way and have only had brief passing thoughts about switching to lefty. Then I come to my senses and think about how long it would take me to get back to where I am now after playing 25 years as a righty.

12:08PM. House arrest day for me. I hate this. The guy usually gets here btwn 11 & 12. I just heard rustling in the hallway... could it be??????

Nope.

It's gonna be a lot worse come August when the Bongo is shipped. Today is for that other stand up thing that we don't talk about here which I already mentioned in my earilier post and would have never even known about if people here didn't go blabbin about theirs.

Today is practice day.

This sucks. My cable TV is out of comission too.

I'm going to go read some Wayne Dyer now. Anyone ever read his stuff?
