Are black Axis Super Sports with matching headstock, maple finger board and trem bridge rarer than hens teeth? (insert equivalent American catch phrase)

After looking at all the dealers listed on the MusicMan UK site, I have only found one at Guitars4you, and that doesn’t have a matching headstock.

Would prefer to buy used, but the classifieds section on here and eBay are a bit thin on the ground.

Any reasons as to why the MusicMan UK site, instruments section says under construction?
Seems to have been like this for quite some time.

Have you tried calling Strings & Things? Maybe they can tell you if one was order by a store in the UK somewhere, which will tell you who to call next to see if it's still in stock. Of course, you could also just buy a gamechanger? Looks almost the same, right? :)

Perhaps for the same reason only 16 Black EVH guitars were produced, the finish was not highly in demand. The EVH/Axis is pretty famous for having amazing finishes and this is one model guitar where I do not think solid black is a desirable finish.
