What is recommended when changing strings on my JP7? I was using a 10-65 on my Jp7 for a new song tuned to G, and they're still a little "floppy" as you will. The only gauge I've found to be heavier is https://www.guitarstringsonline.com...r-String-Set--7-String--New-Gauges_p_561.html which is a 74. (jeez) Figured i'd give it a shot.. My question is: what adjustments will be needed ? Truss rod? Is using a heavy string as this actually harmful for the guitar? figured id ask so i know for sure! thanks.

You will need to adjust intonation on that saddle, and you may have to adjust spring tension and possibly the truss rod.
Keep in mind that you may not be able to physically fit the .074 string through the locking tuner (even .068 is a tight fit). If that is the case then you have 3 options.
-Try a .068 or smaller gauge.
-Try removing some of the nickel winding and only threading the core wire through the tuner
-(not advised) Permanently modify the tuner to fit a .074
Ernie Ball makes single strings in .064, .066, .068, .070, .072, and .074

just thought id update anyone trying to use a .068 or higher on a JP7.... didn't fit. guess i'll try unwinding the string but if not its looking like .065 might be the thickest..
