Hi all,

Haven't been around here for a long time due to school and vacation. I went to the states for 5 weeks this summer with a bandmate. Beautifull country first of all

Our trip took us down Highway 1 and past St. Louis Obispo.

My friend is the happy owner of 3 balls as well, so we decided to take a little detour :p

Unfortunately there wasn't anybody home as it was a saturday - but at least we got a nice pick of the car.....

Then we went to LA and picked these twins up for an extremely good price. Axis Super Sport rosewood. One with trem (mine) and one without....

Here they are in action in the Joshua tree park :D (we couldn't help ourselves)

Once again the EB company seem to have outdone themselves in making this fantastic guitar!!! Superb tone and feeling!!!!

Great pics! Looks like you've had some good fun!!

Speaking of visiting SLO... Do the EBMM guys give factory tours of som sort?? Or is it possible to visit the factory?? Or is this only possible on events like the Open House etc??? I'm planning to visit the States in 2007 or 2008, and I would really love to visit the SLO factory, if it were possible...

Cheers!

Twan, they don't do tours, that was something special for the Open House. From what's been said before.

we sure had a great trip and a lot of fun.

Don't know if it's actually possible to get a tour in the factory - we just thought it would be fun to see it as we were in the area.
But sure would have been great to see the makers of these fantastic instruments in person.

*Edit...guess they don't do tours then.

But at least we saw the car - and felt the magic in the air :)

Where are you from?

Looks like a fantastic time! Iremember when I drank fortified beer.

You were about a half hour from the string factory when you were in Joshua Tree.

Stick around....

Hi Bp,

I'm from Denmark (the tiny spot above Germany you know  )
It was a fantastic time - we spent 1 week in NY and DC and then we went on a road trip in California for 3 weeks. . .very amazing country I must say.

- we mostly bought the fortified beer 'cause we've seen it in so many movies and had to try it out :D

cool pics...and I love the EB Scion XB! I just got one myself, but the paintjob is much more pedestrian

And those wheels...I don't think those are a standard option are they?

Yeah, dude! The Rosewoods sound amazing. I had them build me one with p90s, tremolo and a piezo. The dark tone of the wood in conjunction to the p90s sounds just BRUTAL with drop D.
