Valentine Pickup heights?

I'm having trouble balancing the volume of the bridge and neck pickups, as the bridge seems louder. Anyone have any advice or what the official height is?

4/32" bridge
6/32" neck

The pickup heights are set from the factory at 4/32" and 6/32". However, you can adjust these heights to match your playing style.

Is that with the string fretted at the last fret or just open?

Are both sides set the same?, isnt the bass side supposed to be lower than the treble side?

Hi Peter,
The bass and treble sides will be the same for the Valentine. We measure the open string to the top of the pole pieces. You're rarely going to play at the last fret, especially on the low E, so that's not the most efficient method of measuring the pickup height. You may just want to fret the last fret to make sure your clearance from the string to the pickup is ok.
