Valentine tone knob fell off

I just purchased a brand new Valentine guitar. Upon the initial playings I pushed down on the tone knob (so it pops it up), and I realized that the knob was just spinning without actually adjusting the tone setting on the guitar. Then I easily lifted the tone knob off and inspected it (doesn't seem like anything is out of place) and I'm trying to reattach the tone knob but its not locking into place in any manner.

Any help?

There should be a set screw. You can see it on the side of the knob in the first picture here:

Valentine | Guitars | Ernie Ball Music Man

You just need to tighten that to keep the knob on. It probably takes a small hex allen wrench.
