I'm thinking of selling my Silhouette, but I really don't have a sense of what it's worth. It's a 1991 in cherry burst. Here's a pic from when I first got it - looks pretty much the same now.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thank you CHill. Yeah it is indeed a beauty and it's a bit hard to let it go. On the other hand I play almost exclusively acoustic these days and I feel like this should be in the hands of someone who will use it to make music.

I could read that two ways, but I'll just choose the interpretation I like more and say, Thanks!

It's a good thing! I'm just saying that's a nice guitar and also nice that it's that old. I guess I'm saying, think hard before you sell it! Good luck

'morning Sample,

Do you want a quick sale? How long are you willing to wait before it sells? Do you need to sell it or just trying to make some room?

CHill's estimate is a good one. There are a few on Reverb asking around $1000 that have been sitting for several months. $650 to $850 USD is nice for a quick sale.

Thanks a lot Canuck. I'm looking for a reasonably quick sale, but I'm not desperate - so I guess I will try for somewhere under $1000. Is Reverb a better place to sell than here or ebay?
