van halen thread locked?

okay, so I post in the General music section and you lock my thread? why isnt the beatles thread locked out? are we not allowed to talk about eddie van halen here?

There's a long history of EVH threads going bad on this forum, historically they lead to arguments that we don't want here. Just one of those things. All the mods usually nip it in the bud, b/c we've all logged long hours cleaning things up and that's just something we don't want to do.

Feel free to talk about EVH, the guitar. But this isn't really the forum to talk about Van Halen. There are lots of boards where it'll be well received.

Generally off-topic stuff is cool.
