Hey guys!

I know this is super off topic, but I don't really pay attention to this kinda stuff much...Mods, if you think this is too far fetched, feel free to delete...sorry about that ahead of time!

My wife and I are expecting our first baby boy on April 22nd...well, thats the due date anyway. What suggestions do you guys have for an HD, or just a typical video camera? Something that maybe isn't going to be obsolete too quickly. Thanks ahead of time!

I don't have an answer for you because I don't own a video camera, but it occurs to me that you should take into account things like low-light performance and audio quality, because once you've shot ten thousand hours of video of your new bouncing baby bandmate, you might want to use the camera to record gigs.

features dummy proof point and shoot (digic 4), AMAZING video quality, Stereo recording, 20x optical zoom, need i say more ?
