Just found THAT on local trade site. The seller says that it is VERY RARE MM SABRE. You guys need to check this out. Off speech actually. I have to admit that even chinese rip-offs look better :DDD This is completely insane) A masterpiece for bass guitar horror show.

Besides the obvious - this would make great firewood / metal recycling, but I can't even look at the headstock because the strings are all mangled in the tuners - call me OCD, but I always do a clean job of installing strings. What a train wreck!

Is it possible this is a very old on off prototype ? because the bridge has a stamped name on it although it is a bit fuzzy in the pic and those tuners look like Schaller BMs....

Pete Bass and SBMM, I hope you are joking :) It is just a piece of old wardrobe with MM bridge on it

Gravesend - While it does look kind goofy, it also screams 70's, and after some stuff I've seen in the wild, I never discount it until one with greater historical product knowledge than me makes the determination. I'd like to think it's a tabletop as well, but, we'll see.

I may coming out looking like a fool, but my money is on it being a pre-production sample.

Gravesend - this is the reason that I don't doubt until I hearing otherwise from BP or Dudley.

I found this at the Sweetwater Gear Fest.
Thought for sure it was a fake.
Turns out Dudley made this circa 85-86.

It is 1 of 1...
