urgh wanker hamilton island application. its one of those online ones...where you cant do the simple effective thing of attaching your already perfect resume and cover letter but are only allowed to put in what they ask you.
it was for a photo processing and sales job which i am more than qualified for.

it wouldnt let me put in my past experience or anything all it asked was these weird questions like do you live away from home, how often do you see your parents, do you scrunch or fold your toilet paper...well they didnt ask that but i bet they could pinpoint the answer from all the other questions.

sorry. so frustrated. spent an hour and a half doing their sillly thing only to get an email back almost immediately from a webmaster/ computer source saying sorry you dont fit the criteria. they wouldnt have even had time to read it.

a friend said they often do that when they already have someone for the job but have to advertise it anyway.

so cranky.

i want to become a super famous photographer now just to spite them. thats horrible isnt it.

i went to the beach today and that made me feel better. long live queens birthday holidays.

I've heard of more horrible things, really. So you do photo work - where's the online portfolio? It's 2006, you know. Get cracking, you slacker.

I'm not sure about any queens having birthdays, but it was Sunday, nearly 100 degrees and I spent most of the day floating around in the pool.

Anyway, let's see some work, eh?

ok yessir i dont have my whole folio with me at the mom but ive got a few raw photos.... dont know about the quality of this one as it was bigger than a meg so photo bucket had to resize it.

i love it, i took it with my stalker lens (70-300mm) on full zoom.

Tiff, looks like you know your way around a camera. Do what Jack said. Everybody you're competing against for a job are already doing that.

Tiff, from a semi-seasoned snapper - you defo got a good eye for a picture. Keep it up, persistance is a good thing to get where you want, and looks like you got the talent already.:)

BTW love the surf shot and the seagulls - you are right about the mid field focus.

If I can help with ideas of where else to try what ever just pm me.

Sorry, Tiffs, got busy with life and stuff!

Wonderful photos! We have some great photogs (pro and amateur) here on the board so it's kind of scary to post stuff - but you have a great eye.

Oh hell, maybe even TWO great eyes.

And good technique, so I hate you.
