Alright guys, I'm still shaking.. Not even joking. Probably going to be one of the trademark events of my life. I met Victor Wooten today at LA Music in Mississauga, Ontario - at approximately 2:58 pm, and it was sooooo cool.
Alright here we go.
Here's the place, LA Music. Getting really nervous at this point.
Alright so we walk in, and what do i see? A crowd of course. Everyone crowding around Victor. He's a lot shorter than I expected! I could JUST see his head above the crowd.
So we waited in line, and finally came close enough to take this pic. Victor looks aged, but still looks smokin' cool. He really took the time to get everyone's name and introduce himself, as well as shake EVERYONE's hand.
Finally get my turn!
We had about a 2 minute chat; I told him I was a huge fan; and he was very genuine about his reaction. He was very calm and cool. His thumbs are huge!
I asked him kindly to sign 2 of my pieces of MM gear. To sign just above the pickup; and then to sign my black pg. He made sure he spelled my name right. He asks: "Spelt R, Y, A, N ?"
I stopped and had to think for moment, nervous under the pressure and responded: "Whatever you want Victor" Haha. "Yea"
Great picture of me and him. We got real close for this one - heh. He was a really cool guy.
This is my and my photographer leaving, Sanju. If she wasn't there, I wouldn't of been able to show you guys these cool pics. I thanked her sooo much. I drove home, she had to make sure I didn't crash - of course i wasn't thinking about driving.
Overall AMAZING DAY. I hope you guys enjoy these pics. From now on, I'm going to be playing my bass over the hand of a master. No one better could have touched by MM. (I think Victor was impressed with my SR4
Here's some pics of his signatures in case anyone wanted to see:
Some Canadian money in there too! Haha.
To verify:
Thanks EBMM.
