Video: in the studio with my Silo Special

Here is me doing a take for a solo on the 3rd Julie Black cd. I am using an Silhouette Special with a scalloped neck, and a Custom Custom & Alnico II Pro pickups. This guitar (my favorite) is signed by both Steve Morse and Sterling.The pickup setting has me using the outside coils of both pickups on. I am going direct via POD HD500 modeler with some slapback echo. What an amazing, fun-to-play instrument.

I bought the Silo Special 10 years ago with the intention of having the neck scalloped. I sent it to someone who has a lot more experience than I do! Both Steve Morse and Sterling said 'cool!' when they picked it up...haha! BTW, the tone on the video is a POD HD500 direct to the board!
