I know a website I have saved at work I'll link you to. The guy takes VHS and 'transfers' them to dvd. He's overseas and his shipping is very good. I don't know how you feel about bootlegs but some things that are rare or only on VHS are only available as a bootleg... He does have about 6 or so Randy Rhoads dvd items amongst hundreds of other 'transfers' of other bands. One of the Randy Rhoads was live with Quiet Riot in LA or something. Kinda cool... Probably be Monday before I can get the link.

Video of Randy Rhoads...

That was truly inspirational. Thanks for sharing that. I really got emotional. Randy was my Idol... can you tell?

Me in '86.

My friend has that Kershner thing I think. He let me borrow it a few months ago. It has Crazy Train on it too. Smart guy, my friend. He has already made a special trip to get it back.

I remember when they used to do ZOO WORLD in Dallas. When Blizzard was out they handed out 45's of Crazy Train. We talked them into a case. I can't find a one. Sux.

Pro-chops. However, I have just been humbled by a 22 year old video clip of a truly gifted 22 year old master... noodling around.

Did anyone notice the last couple chords and lick? Eruption?

Hey Rod,
I have an old bandmate that was in a band in Dallas back in the day. The name of the band was Solinger. Ring any bells?

Hello Jay,

It honestly does sound familiar. I really only remember a few locals from back then:
Savvy, US Kids, Pantera (of course).

I really only remember a few "anythings" from back then for reasons I am sure you can guess.

Later.
