Nice!

DaveB or Brett? I'm sure that this grabs your interests. I would love to see something like this come home but it's way out of my tax bracket.

I'd rather buy eight grand worth of new guitars from EBMM so the money would go to our favorite guitar makers. Imagine what that kind of money could get you:

* 20th Silo
* Blue Pearl Albert Lee SSS
* 30th StingRay
* Stealth single H Bongo

This would be a nice bundle! :D

Boy that's tempting. Pretty steep price obviously, and if I weren't in the middle of putting together my home theater, I'd likely seriously consider it.

58" Panasonic plasma and B&W speakers, or another guitar????:eek:

I know the seller and we tried to come to a deal last year, but he knows what he has, and he is not going to let it go cheap. It is a very rare and very nice guitar, but in my opinion he is a little high on his price. When I say high, I mean around 30% more than what I have seen one go for. But when you consider only 26 in exisistence, I would grab it if I had the cash!;)

It's a beauty, but the price is out of site. True it is rare, but he's asking a ton for it. Heck, $125 for shipping in the US, it cost me between $30 and $40 to ship from Massachusetts to SLO.

You don't see too many EVH's that don't have matching headstocks.

I've seen a few Mr Horsepowers go for less and there are only 25 of those :p

(Of course I've seen some go for more too ...)

Good point Brent. You have to be sure, especially for the price. Way more than I would pay....but that is strictly me. :cool:

Absolutley ridiculous.

Guitars are to be played, not collected.

That poor thing is what, a decade old or so? It ought to be beat to hell and been played lovingly for the last several years. Very sad.

Jaxadam -

Yeah, B&Ws are nice speakers. I've got 802s currently and really love them. I'll keep the stereo comment short though as I don't want to high jack this thread!:)

The gold top seems high to me too. $6k might be a fair asking price, but as someone already said, there's only 26, and it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I've got an outstanding $6K offer for a gold one with another seller and have really no interest in moving on one priced at $2500 more.

Very cool guitar and something I'd like, but I'm not going to overpay for one.
