And to think, eBay pulled the plug on a recent auction of mine because I used "Like New" in the description.

They claimed it was deceptive in that search results looking for "new" would find my item.

I hate that company. Totally unapologetic about their ripping off schemes.

I don't think the title is a lie as such, because the company who makes this knock off bass is called 'vintage'. It also says 'music man style' so its not claiming to actually be a music man. But the title does seem a bit deceptive. And what really annoys me is that it claims to be as good as an EBMM but for $1000 less, when clearly it is very poorly built.

Just a little question for Big Poppa, is the company 'Vintage' actually licensed to use the 3 +1 headstock or are they breaching copyright law?

If you surf around that site, you'll find that for each series of Vintage Bass guitars and Vintage Electric guitars, they introduce it with three descriptive adjectives. For example:

Vintage®EST96Series
Stimulating, Stylish, Expressive.

Vintage®MetalAxxeReaper
Agile, Addictive, Aggressive.

Vintage®V940/V950ActiveSeries
Fast, Fluid, Funky.

Let's have fun with this... Let's come up with three adjectives that express how WE feel about Vintage® instruments... :D

Here is what the idiot replied when I very nicely told him that his listing was "potentially" a tad misleading.....

Thank you for your insight. I know this is not an EBMM instrument, and no where does it say it is. The Ernie Ball line is "Musicman", I have not used that term, and while this guitar is made by Vintage to resemble the EBMM model, my title represents the same similarity without using the copyrighted terms.

I have added the word "Style" to the title to further expound that this is not a Ernie Ball instrument.

Scumbag.:)
