this weekend i played a silo armed w/ dimarzio area 58 & 61's in it for a couple gigs. gotta tell ya it was killer. i use ALOT of gain at some points........& those pickups were blistering w/ tone. very tight lows. & the highs were pefectly balanced. & dead quiet !!!!!! alot of fun !!!!!! dimarzio is one of the best companys out there for sure.
for lower gain situations i think lollar has it wrapped up. ( but they aint cheap !!!!)
lindy does a great job too.
there are so many excellent pickups being made these days.........suhr , van zant , bill lawrence , duncan ........
also.......suhr's back plate dummy coil system works amazingly well !!!!
