Can I remove a battery from my bongo and slow it down? My band tells me I play too fast.

Can we just let Paul go? Maybe there's something to this, maybe it's the placebo effect, either way he seems to be happy with the results brought about by the extra battery. I play keyboards (yuck!) in two of my bands. The bass player in those groups is a close friend, like a younger brother. He's a great player but is always questioning his bass or rig or so forth. Half the stuff he hears, I don't. Either he's got better ears than me or is over-analyzing. Regardless, I let it go; it's his growth process and I don't want to interfere, so I try to remain neutral. I'm feeling like we should do the same with Paul as opposed to (good-naturedly) busting his balls (no pun intended).

finally an intelligent post. yes lovechick I was told I am a musical genius. I hear elements in the sound spectrum that most people can't hear. I never felt they were "busting my balls" with these posts. It just tells me who are the less intelligent members in this forum. anywho, back to slapping this StingRay! :D
