the Artisan series just blows me away... such rich colors for an incredible guitar design. EBMM is just killing it this last year looking forward to 2016 to see where they take 'em

That looks great, but is that the actual color? My Viola isn't that deep and dark of a purple, more a wine type of purple. And the others I've seen haven't been 'that purple', although I kind of wish they WERE that dark (like in the pics). Maybe it's the lighting, or were the photos enhanced?

That is the color as best I can capture it. I mean white balance is always a PITA but the photos are only cropped, with no other filters or edits. Using LED soft boxes and an older Canon DSLR tethered to Apple Aperture. I just try to get them well lit and in focus.

Showroom is open today until 6 if anybody local wants to see it in person. I can stay later if needed.

That is WAY darker than my Viola, so you may have a special one there. . . That looks great. And thanks for sharing! Good luck with the sale - I may be in the area in a week or so, I might have to check that one out!
