In a previous thread BP felt that the cost of "Violet Crumbles" was exhorbitant!!
Now personally I think that EBMM should make a guitar in the same colour as the Violet Crumble wrapper, although I guess they come close with the new Y2D.
(So with reference made to an EBMM this makes this thread suitable for the Guitar forum! LOL!)
As the Violet Crumble is new to me, I thought I ought to recommend a few delicacies when you visit Cardiff, UK.
- you just got to try Black pudding (I think my cousin from St Louis called it blood pudding), or a steak and kidney pie.
- you have also got to try a pint of Brains SA (we think it stands for Skull Attack!) http://www.pub-explorer.com/realale/sabrains.htm
and a Clarks Pie http://www.currybeast.com/bluebirds/the_clarkies_pie.htm

What delicacies do you guys recommend ?

(I've already tried a Belly Bomber from White Castles in St Louis and some of that
(Ughhhh) Root Beer!!!)

Spud, I'm shocked that you've not recommended the culinary delicacy that Cardiff is famous for; chicken off the bone with curry sauce and chips from Caroline Street!

On the few occasions I've been on a night out in Cardiff, the night generally ends with a snack from one of the many chippies to be found along there.

Haggs and chips (fries in the US)

Deep fried mars bars (milkey way in the US) and chips

Scottish food is at its best when deep fried. Now you know why there are more heart attacks here than anywhere else/head of population.

On the other side of the coin...........Omani lobster is fantastic!

lol! (Very loud!) That place goes back to the days when I played the "The New Moon Club" (Cardiffs equiv of London's Marquee) then it was always back to Dorothys in Caroline Street for "Chicken Curry off the floor and Chips"

It's all got a bit posh along there now, but the Chippies still exist - gotta go now and tell BP all about faggots! and Laver Bread.
