Visiting factory in San Luis Obispo?

Hey guys,

I am on a holiday trip in the US for a couple of weeks. Today I was in Guitar Centre in New York and tried some Balls. Amazing!!

We will also go to California and pass San Luis Obispo. Is it worth to pop by at the factory? Are there any Music Man stores over there? I would love to buy a vintage white pearloid pickguard as a gift for my AL Do they sell these things directly there or do they offer factory tours or anything? That would be so cool!!

I'd love to go and visit the factory too, but unfortunately they don't do tours. If I remember correctly, BP has stated if they did tours they'd never get guitars made.

Cool town, though. Other things to see and do. Climb Bishop's Peak, eat deli sandwiches at Ben Franklin's, BBQ at Firestone, wine bars, chocolate shops (my wife's favorite), etc.

Beaches nearby, too! (Avila is nice.)

Frank Lloyd Wright building in town (if you're into architecture).

If you have some time try Montana De ORO state park along the coast off los osos rd in SLO. And a drive up through big sur is unforgettable. MAybe stay in Carmel CA.
