Hi,
I recently bought a Luke 3. It is probably the best guitars I have ever played. There is one thing though which is a small problem. The volume knob moves just by looking at it. I "grew up" playing a Les Paul where the volume knob is far away from my picking hand so when I play strat like guitars I constantly hit the volume knob with my fretting hand. Normally I deal with this with a felt ring below the volume knob to keep the knob from turning when hitting it. On the Luke 3 the volume knob is a push push so felt rings are not an option here. I Never use the tone knob so I'm thinking about either:
1) Move the push push function to the tone knob and then place a felt ring below the volume knob or,
2) Swab the volume and tone knobs and place a felt ring below the tone (or bypass the tone)
Anybody who has solved this problem either as I suggest or in another way?

+1 for just give it time to get adjusted to it. It tripped me up for a few days but now its a completely non-issue. I'm actually grateful for the ease of sweeping/swells with it now.

Same and same. I was a Les Paul player for years and really struggled with the volume pot on Strats and Strat-like guitars.

After awhile, it's just not a problem anymore. I guess I just got used to it?

Side note...but does anyone actually know what brand of pots MM is using these days? I popped open a few of mine just new and the back of the pots don't have any discernable markings. I've got an older Luke II with EMGs that has pretty stiff pots that I liked to replace with some of the looser feeling ones.
