I know this has been brought up countless times but I just wanted to note how incredibly frustrating and not user friendly this repair is. I’ve been trying for two hours and I’m still at square one because the spring keeps falling off the string when I go to attach it. The string is also physically not long enough without ripping to attach it to the front pulley the way the instructions explain. How do you realistically expect people to fix this in such a small cramped space? Surely there has to be a better design than whatever this is. I would never buy this pedal again strictly based off of how ridiculous and frustrating the repair is.
