Hello, I have an old Ernie Ball volume pedal, model 6166. It is not a Junior and is one of the ones with an open front, i.e. the jack sockets are on the right hand side of the pedal and it also has an input for a tuner.
My question is this, I have just replaced the potentiometer and I have found I still have the problem that the pedal will not stay completely closed (heel down). I know that when I push it to full heel down position that the pot is completely off so no sound but as soon as I release t the pressure holding it heel down, it opens just a small amount, but enough to let some sound through. I've tried all the things shown in videos on YouTube but nothing is working. Does someone please have an answer to this?
