heyya aStevie Stingray, sorry , I've got no pics to prove my point but I can testify that my latest sR5H Piezo was special ordered Natural/ and rosewood with Abalone p/g and is totallystunning... at firstthe lads at the shop thought I was crazy , until the bass arrived from SLO and they saw it in real life; I'm hooked on it and alls I can say is " if you feel like taking a real zippity Doo Dah chance, you'lll see what I mean when you try it .. from a fashion point of view, there is a verygolden coloured flec in the abalone p/g that really works with the blondie colour of a Natural SRash bodyand the dark abalone colours contrast very nicely...
the word "ELEGANT" comes to mind ... as does " STYLE"or "MODERNE"

ps CAUTION If you're up for the ZIPPITY DOO DAH chanceof a lifetime, Wimmin find it irrsistably attractiveeven if you can''''''t play bass worth a hoot![]()
So I've recently acquired a beautiful Stingray from a senior member of this fine, fine forum.
It's a natural finish, but I'm thinking of changing the pickguard. Pictured are 1 of the 3 options I'm considering.
What do you think?
Black
White
Tort

Tort looks better with rosewood, black with maple.
