Hey All,

I use a 5150 Iconic Combo and mostly a bunch of analog pedals. All of my modulation, reverb, delay AND volume pedals currently run through the 5150's FX Loop. I love the ability to use the volume pedal as a master volume while retaining delay/reverb echoes when i switch it all the way off.

I was considering the VP Jr Tuner because it opens up space, BUT I want the VP Jr Tuner to keep the delay/reverb echoes when the volume is down. Below is the chain I THINK works where the Greens would run in front of the amp and the Yellows run in the 5150's FX Loop. Did I get this right, or will I screw up the echoes? Thanks!

I'm also a fan of a VP in the loop- I much prefer to control my overall volume that way.

If you want the delay/reverb to have trails, put the VP in the loop before the Collider. To use the tuner correctly, you'd want to use the pedal's send/return, so something like this-

Guitar --> VP IN --> VP Send FX --> green pedals --> amp input. Then,

Amp FX Send --> VP Return FX --> VP Out --> yellow pedals --> Amp FX Return

The only issue I can see is a potential ground loop, with both signal paths going through the VP. But that may not be a problem ... you'd just have to try it.

Thanks the ground loop was a concern but I wasn't sure if the pedal can split between front of amp and fx loop in the amp. It's kinda confusing in the manual.
