Ok so i want to buy some 66 gauge strings, but i dont know what the w means on the package could someone help me out?

I believe "wound". But, wait until you get the official word on it.
Who knows, it may mean Wintergreen, and in that case, it probably smells pretty good too.

I'm pretty sure its wound too.
I think that means the wire is wrapped around the string like the bass strings.
Unwound is when you see a n00d string, like your trebles.

p is plain, w is wound.. usually just applies to strings sized around .20 (give take a few sizes.. )
