Just wondering what the average wait time on a Petrucci sig is? I've been to the Ernie Ball / Music Man site and did a "build an instrument" but no dealers near me had anything close to what I was looking for. I know there are a lot of fine online retailers that carry the JPM's but I don't know the general size of the available inventory. I heard some guys had to wait months! Thanks!

For an order placed today the Wait time is approx 12 weeks for any instruments we offer. Consult with a dealer near by to get more details.

Thanks

Is this still accurate?

A buddy of mine let me play his Axis SS in October when I was visiting him in NY... I was immediately hooked and had to have one. Sold my early 90's Japanese Ibanez the following week.

I placed an order in early December (Put my deposit down on 12/3) for an Axis SS in Cherry Burst, Maple neck, matching HS, MM90s, Trem, piezo.

I didn't go for the hand picked top, like Zigi. I didn't see his pics until long after I ordered. :(

Awesome axe, Zig, you have good taste! :D

Thanks in advance...

TP

PS - Of course I'll post pics as soon as it arrives...

You may try coaxing the dealer you order from to let you borrow a petrucci if one is around but not exacly how you like it.

I was surprised that my local GC let me do just that.

That's a great idea, thanks.

I'll probably just wait for it, though. I'm not completely without an instrument as I've still got my Ric 650.

I ordered my SS with Piezo on 11/13. My dealer said it would probably be late January or Early Feb., which would put it at about 12 weeks.
