Have you check out M-Audio's Midair? Very easy to use wireless MIDI system.

I have seen it but it is a hassle. I would have to run power out to the board to power it right now I don't run any power out to the stage. The It would mean having a 3rd transmitter on me (since I have the piezo model it means I need two wireless units to have them and the mags be wireless)

Drew can you answer my above question above about if the GC midi in can only be mapped to A1-5 and B1-5 and can it also be mapped to z-15?

I am a little bummed about the one stereo jack don't suppose these are shipping with a TRS to TRS or Stereo Y cable are they?

Just thought of a question that kind of blew my mind. Can midi be mapped to any of the Bank z presets or only A1-5 and B1-5? If thy can be mapped to bank Z presets as well that make 25 possible presets that midi can draw upon! My head just started to hurt a little.

Check out: The Gamechanger

Click on "Enable Device Emulator"
Click on the MIDI Tab (5th tab down on the left hand side of the app)

In MIDI IN mode, you can activate any of the following from a pedal board (or other MIDI controller) in the "MIDI IN Command" Column:
Lever Increment
Lever Decrement
Bank A Select
Bank B Select
Bank A/B Toggle
Bank Z Increment
Bank Z Decrement
Piezo Toggle
Piezo Only
Piezo On
Piezo Off
Mute Toggle
Mute On
Mute Off
Select Preset A1-A5 (any of them)
Select Preset B1-B5 (any of them)
Select Preset Z1-Z15 (any of them)

In Midi OUT mode, you can send up to 50 MIDI signals out when you flip ANY switch on TGC (except save).

We don't ship any of our TRS capable instruments with a splitter or Y cable, because everyone's rig is so different....

These are the ones I'm using. I select a preset on my MFC-101, which changes the preset on my Axe-Fx as well as the preset on my GameChanger at the same time.

Wow. This is really cool stuff. Thanks, Pete, for the video and for everyone else chiming in on what this Gamechanger can do. Really amazing.

Not sue if I should ask you this here or over at fractal. Are you using cat5 for your MFC to II connection? Are you using the MFC midi out into your GC to achieve the above?

It pertains to the GC, so I don't see why I couldn't answer here.

I'm using a 7 pin MIDI cable from the MFC to my Axe II. I was using the expansion port, but it was finnicky so I switched back to MIDI. MFC MIDI Out via 7 pin (bi-directional) to the Axe-FX II MIDI IN, then a standard 5 pin MIDI cable from the Axe-FX II MIDI OUT/THRU to the GameChanger. PC messages for the Axe-Fx are sent on Channel 1 simultaneously to the PC messages for the GC on Channel 2. Each preset on the MFC needs to be modified to send the PC message you want to send to the GC.

wow so you're running a 15+ft midi cable to the gc from the axe? Does this effect the ability to use axe mode on the MFC

25 ft cable from the Axe to the GC. I'm working on a custom "snake" cable that will include the Instrument and MIDI cables, but probably not USB. Since USB 2.0 has a maximum cable length of 5 meters, I would have to go with a shorter cable which I don't want to do.

No affect on Axe-Fx mode.

You should be able to go up to 50ft with the MIDI lead, provided the device complies to MIDI specs.

TGC Complies with every spec for all communication protocols used (USB, MIDI, etc....)

Good to know.

My response was to Brokenvails question relating to the interconnection between the AxeFX and the MIDI Foot Controller. I hadn't realised that the MFC connected to the Axe FX via Ethernet.

So when does the EEG controlled switching system hit the streets?

It's not ethernet, it just uses the same Cat5 cable with RJ-45 connectors.
