The 20th anniversary I bought from Glenn should be here Thursday. I must admit, I'm going a little nuts. I can't wait to play it. Luckily, I have my 2 silos to tide me over.

Prior to buying my black silo a couple weeks ago, i had never bought something without playing it first. I can't imagine how some of you felt waiting for months after placing an order. How do you not lose your minds? :D

I've bought a couple of strats sight-unseen...one was fairly resonant and the other was a dead dog. I bought my silo sight-unseen. Fortunately, it turned out the most resonant electric guitar I've ever owned.

Prior to my silo, the only EBMM I had ever touched was a SUB1 when they first came out way over a decade ago. I was impressed with the quality construction and shape/feel, but disliked the textured paint job and diamond plate pickguard. It sounded kinda dead, unplugged...probably because of the paint.

3 months have gone by since I ordered my PDN. It's killing me. Hopefully within the next week or so.......... I feel your pain.

Dane, you'll have it by Tuesday and you'll love it, it's a great guitar, it was an impulse buy for me and unfortunately it wasn't my thing.

I found that to be the case with the hardtail I just bought. It's got a very acoustic property to it. Sounded awesome right out of the case.

Even better. Apparently, my excitement has rendered me unable to read the ups tracking ino correctly.

Out of curiousity, what guitar(s) do you gravitate toward most? What has the "it factor" for you that the 20th did not?

I've got 2 Albert Lee's and 2 Silo Specials, I'm not much of a finish top guy as a painted top guy. Plus for the hack that I am it's way, way more guitar than I really need. I prefer the sparkle finishes and had actually considered have the 20th painted.

I'll show you a few if you wanna see them?

At the risk of exacerbating my recent gas attack, most definitely.

What about the guys waiting over 3 years with huge deposits for ken Lawrence's...

There's a company called TMG that was building parts guitars with prices higher than BFRs and was taking money and not delivering guitars... then claimed financial problems and sold the company and fled to Australia.

at least with Ken you get your guitar and EBMM 3 months for a top of the line original hand made guitar... worth every second of the wait

Dr Kev, thanx, I'd glad it found a home, I wished I could have gotten more but such is life.

Ozzy, thanx it was and I'm glad that someone finally bought it, but it didn't sell here.

If it had 22 frets, I would have snagged it. lol. Beautiful axe, hopefully you will snag your dream guitar now.

Ozzy thanx, nothing in mind or that I really need thanx. But I've learned to never say never. :D

That's a long wait. I was on a wait list for an OD pedal for about 2 years. By the time my number was called, I found that I had lost interest. I've never been accused of having ADD, but I don't know that my attention span is that long.

I am so happy that Glen's 20th found a good home! Looking forward to a NGD post with new photos of that baby!

I'll try not to disappoint. If we get some sun, I'll try to get some shots outside. I'm looking forward to seeing that top in person.
