Just wondering if there is any way of actually knowing how far your guitar is through the build process? Or is the usual 3 months a pretty accurate guess?

It's only been 2 weeks and I want my Luke already

I think I remember them telling me that once they START your guitar, it's usually about three weeks to complete. The rest of the time is just waiting for your order to make it through their que.

A phone call or email to them can tell you if they started it, but seeing as it's been 2 weeks, seems unlikely.

On the bright side, I've already got mine and play them all the time :D

I can give you my experience. I ordered my Pet7 on May 12 and it just reached my dealer yesterday. I should see it next week hopefully. So it took 19 weeks and 1 day from order to delivery.

FYI...It is very difficult/time consuming to hunt down a guitar that is in the system. I can be done, but it is a PITA and the customer service folks are busy enough as it is, so please just be patient. Your axe will get to you, and you will love it..I promise :D

That's OK Jon. Wasn't going to hastle them. I just wondered if there was some kind of tracking number that could be entered on the website and told the status of the order ala DHL or FedEx etc Just an idea...

Keith...stop rubbing it in. That's really not fair ;)

BTW, the Universe has gone. Sold first time on e-bay! Now all I have is a £70 Hohner acoustic  Well, I'll certianly have strengthened my fingers after 3 months of coping with that

Now I know why people have more than one guitar! Must save up for the Axis

One other question. Do you know what the shipping time is from the factory to Strings and Things, the UK distributor?

My AL originally made it to me about 3 months to the day of the order, June to September, and that included a color change order placed about three weeks in.

Good luck - It's worth the wait :)

I appreciate the wait to be honest, especially since it's fresh out the factory as opposed to sitting on the showroom floor for meatheads to bang around on. Seems it takes awhile for the artist pieces too...hey Jon that Teal Pearl ever get done?

Be ready for a long delay...

I ordered a premium top with my axis super sport. THAT WAS BACK IN FEBRUARY.

I've heard I will see it early next week. I'm all for quality, but this is becoming rediculous. If I've waited patiently for over 7 months. This guitar better be a beauty :(
