That´s how trade is happening. Compare the prices for an ENGL amp in the US to the one in germany.
I remember the late 70ies before computer before cell phone and Fleabay.
It was hard to see a american made guitar in germany at all. And you payed a lot more than today.
It was only cheaper in the 80ies because for us the Dollar was cheaper, so we have to live with it.

And I tell you what: Being a dealer in the EU is no fun either, no boundaries at all the east pushes in ....
If a distributor takes a brand under his wings he has to offer a good service for the product, hire good people and......and....
This is expensive. I have every screw or piece I need from my distributor in 2 days. Otherwise I would have to order it in SLO. Waitin 1 month or so.

I see that EBMM guitars are expensive over here, but there is a reason and you will welcome the service if you need it.
You can always buy a used one from the US and say I don´t need service, but I tell you there will be big moaning if a prob is there and no one will help you because it´s not imported by the distributor.....

Alway three sides to every story.

See this is exactly what I am talking. I did not badger your customer service. They made their points and I made mine and in the end they said "No". When I sent you the one and only PM i have ever sent you it was just to let you know as the owner of your company that the statement you made saying most problems with EBMM guitars are found within the 1 year Warranty Period. That was not the case with my guitar. Your company made your stand and I was trying to talk to you instead of through this forum because I did not think this was the place to do it. If what you write on the forum are differant than what is actually happening then I thought you would like to know also. But I have also read through the forum how upset you get when any one brings up the "Stress Crack Issue" and I think that is unfair when the issue is not fixed.

When I talked about the price differance I did not say I had a fix for it. I have talked with Beth in great detail about and she also made me smarter about an issue that I was also concerned about. Still does not mean I think it is right the way the system works but it is the way it is.

Am I wrong for thinking if a guitar sits in it case for 3 years while I am in Iraq working to come home to see that it has to stress cracks then to read on this very forum that it was a known issue with the cases and that the problems has been fixed. Well maybe those who bought them before the cases were changed should have been offered new cases. Like a "Recall" item on your car. I did not have my tuner break or a knob fall off outside the warranty period. I had a known issue since these guitars have been built happen to my first EBMM JPM. And yes it is a issue that is continuing to happen so the problem still is not fixed.

Ok lets see.....2 pm's to me (trying to override customer service)

long phone conversations to our Export Manager ( who has nothing to do with customer service, once agian overridind custmoer service)

I know you have talked to dan and Dargin many times...thas badgering.
