Want to buy/trade for my Stingray?

As some of you know, earlier this week I was the unfortunate victim of a SR5 kidnapping a.k.a. I got robbed!

The police have been nice about the whole thing - but even they're telling me to move on.

Afther some thought - I've considered giving up my SR4 to fund yet another MMSR purchase.

I just purchased this bass from our own ebmuscmanlvr83, and while I've only had it a few weeks, I would rather give the SR4 up and have a five string to replace the stolen one than only have a SR4.

I'm probably going to put it on eBay, but I wanted to let everyone here know first. I am willing to trade for a SR5. I'm looking to get as close to the one I had stolen as possible.

I'm open to offers or suggestions on how to do this as smoothly as possible.

As the previous owner of of this StingRay I can attest that this bass is MINT and plays and sounds GREAT. I only sold it to fund a Bongo purchase. Anyone considering a StingRay should give this one a thought. Get a great bass and help a fellow forum member in need.

I got a huny-burst just like your 5. The only thing is it has a maple fretboard.
I was going to hold out for a fretless 4 but I can imagine how you feel. See if some one has a fretless 4 so we can have a three way.

Maple would be good. What condition is it in?

However, I don't know of anyone that is giving up a fretless - but we'll see what happens...

Put som TI flats on that 4 and let er go. The SR5 has a brand new set of EB 45-130 rouund wound. Also it has the EB case. Does yours have the case?
