I think the AL has all the buzz right now, but I see your point.

Maybe the way to go about this is set a timeline where we first narrow down the model by vote. Set a date for everyone to chime in, Model with most votes wins (1 vote per forum member)

Once model is selected we can vote on body wood, neck and pickups

last we decide on color.

spred the process over 3 months to let everyone have input. But just leave it at a majority rules thing. I say let Smelly run the choices so that he is happy with the final product (it was his idea) and we can go from there.

Im in as long as it isn't a sparkle color.

Do it by poll. First poll model, second poll with a few options, third poll etc.

Pretty much agree with this process as i said in my previous post, but remember even if we all agree to something there must be the commitment to purchase as well.

i agree... maybe we can have a system in place where we can put a deposit down to show we are serious. Then only the people with a little money invested can vote... it would kill a lot of derailing threads by people who have no intentions of buying?

Not trying to knock anyone as I know we are all planning on other purchases as is... I know I am most likely gonna stretch budget a little thin after the 2HB AL... but can always "find" a way for to purchase a limited MM IF it gets produced.

How about a JP with a rosewood neck, coil splitting and a maple top, finished natural with the non BFR body shape? It wouldn't need any special requirements to make and it would be fantastic to have some JPs with some sweet looking natural wood finishes! :D

Just for understanding this thing: Does this mean, we all have to agree to one type of model that we all "set together" or just 50 Guys, that want to have special guitars (For Example 1. Person: Silo Pinkburst 2.Person: Luke Orange)?

If its the second, iam thinking about joining, because Iam looking for a new EBMM...

Well....I guess this is going to be very difficult, it should start with a voting for the model..... and further on from top to bottom. This has to be organized or it is going nowhere at all ....

Sort out the model and the specs with votings, and then ask ppl if they wanna buy it.... someone has to decide in the end :).
I would be glad if it is a Silo, Luke or an Al

EDIT: Guys, iam so sry... havent recog. that there was allready a guideline :)

What if BP chimes in and lets us choose between several of the proto-types we have all been drooling over the last year and then we just go from there. Then we are just trying to agree on which one we would like to have...

Or, he makes a 3 Way poll, First for the Body, second for "his" Dreamguitar and at last some Modells that allready exist.
If there´re more than 50 ppl in for his Idea then its perfect... otherwise the other votes progress....let him decide I say :)
