Gentleman (and Jon), it's never been a matter of time. It's always been a matter of the Almighty Dollar. If I had the money, bleeb me, I'd already have a single hummer.

And even if I do sell the HSC Bongo, I got a ways to go. But hey, I'm trying!

the it's hard being retired except for not having to work and stuff

Well Ive decided that I just cant part with my beloved sterling. She's only gone for tonight and i miss her terribly and really im glad she didnt sell. Shes just too special and I realize that whenever I get a new toy I want to sell my old toy. I did that years ago with a P bass I had that I regret getting rid of all the time. So Ive decided not this time. Like Jack with his beloved Heinz, I think this one is gonna stay at my homestead.

I've been wondering all along how you were going to display your patriotism if you sold off the red one!

Oh I was gonna replace it with a bongo so Id still be a proud MM suppporter. That sterling has so much mojo though that its ridiculous and I luv the sound of it. Really it just comes down to I have a bad problem that im trying to shut down. My G.A.S. has just gotten to the point where I do more swapping than playing and that MUST STOP!! Im going to learn to not take for granted the stuff that I do have. Crap I have 2 REALLY good basses, what more should I need? Maybe another 5 string one day but not anytime soon.
