I know you're out there...

You're the huge Ace Frehley protege, cut your teeth on Kiss lead guitar licks some 20+ years ago and still got it in you, but are just too embarrased to admit it...

Or maybe you're the Paul Stanley wannabe, playing, prancing and singing all by your lonesome, wishing for an opportunity to get it out in the open, thinking it's too late...

And you're both planning to be in the Desert in September...

I've got the Gene in me - let's make some music! At last count there were like 437 bass players looking to do something at the Knucklehead Jam and 2 guitar players... And 1 singer. ;)

Let's put together a "rock-n-roll all night and party every day" three song classic Kiss set!

Make-up not required... :p

Wow, you don't see a whole lot of references to Ace Frehley on internet forums.

I actually consider Ace my 1st guitar teacher, I spent a lot of time early on learning the "Alive!" double album note for note. Unfortunately, I saw him play at a small theatre in Providence RI in the mid-90's (his band was touring w/ Peter Criss's band), and he was unbelievably bad & drunk off his ass.

His playing was great on those 1st few albums though. I've never seen anyone get more mileage out of the pentatonic scale.

Has anyone seen him in the new Dunkin Donuts commercial? Terrible.

"Lick It Up"
"Love Gun"
"Rock & Roll All Night"

And all the players have to wear 6" platform shoes and a giant codpiece. The glory days of rock 'n roll baby! :D

I was wondering when this was going to come out....you singing there "Gene"...

If we get a pair of Kiss-a-maniacs on board, I have the Gene vocal - would only be right.

My Gene selection-preferences would be Rock 'n Roll All Night or Cold Gin or Dr. Love, assuming my "yet-to-be-named" partners in crime are good to go with these songs... I would defer the Paul selections to the brave lad who ponies-up to the job!

We could colaborate on the third song, perhaps "Shout It Out Loud"? Or maybe our Ace would take the mic for "Shock Me"!? I'd love playing pretty much anything from Alive or Alive II, but hey, I need to hear from my other two masked-compadres!

C'mon guys - a Kiss Triple-play! Three tunes, and most songs are three (or four) chords - I know you're out there! I'm easy - and this should be real easy for the true Kiss-a-maniac!

If you want to pay my airfare out to the desert - I'd be very happy put on some stackheels and shred along to a few Kiss tunes :)

Looking forward to seeing the footage afterwards though.

See? This is what I'm talking about. What I didn't hear, though, is whether or not you'll be in the desert in September...

Sorry adelucia, I won't be there, but I look forward to seeing some pics of you guys. Maybe you can get some video footage & put it up on YouTube? Whoever you get to play lead, he should play an ASS hardtail (closest EBMM to a LP).
