Warning - Do not attempt to put Power Slinky strings on your bass. It will only make your bass sound mean as hell, and act like it is on steroids.:eek: Also, these strings may cause bodily harm as you may ending up kicking yourself in the arse several times for not trying them before.

could the bodily harm be from the bass suffering from a severe bout with roid rage? if the bass becomes addicted to the steroids will it grow breasts and lose testicular mass when the strings are removed?

You're right-on with the Power Slinkys. Best strings for playing down tuned music....even standard. I used them all the time, but went back to XLs .105-.50 as I'm playing oldies but goodies at the moment.
