Warped tour booth question - effects pedal

Hi, I was playing the Ernie Ball guitars at Warped Tour today, and they were all hooked up to some sort of effects generator. It didn't appear to be a pedal, though it was built in to the table so any pedals may have been hidden.

Anyway, I really liked the abundance and quality of the effects and was wondering if anyone can tell me what the thing was called.

I spent most of my time at the main stages, the only times I went over in that direction is when my friend went down the slip n slide, so I would play a little bit when he was drying off on the lawn.

Is it possible to hook up pedals to this thing, similar to Line6's amp heads and pedalboards?
