I was watching the 95 pensacola show and during , I cant stop loving you, I thought it sounded like a piezo sounding acoustic in the beginning, than I noticed that he was playing a sunburst EVH with 2 knobs and another switch! Is this a special one off? Or am i tripping?

Yes, he did have two piezo equipped guitars. Here's a video with some good shots of one of the guitars. There is also a shot of one from the Inside magazine if I recall. Don't have it handy at the moment.

One is a sunburst and the other one is actually natural. Both were used during the 1995 Balance Tour. Great tone out of those two guitars!

Imagine the vault being set up like a museum...what a wonderful place that would be.

On a related note: BP..is it possible to see a pic of that sunburst EVH from the vault?
