weee, new Sterling (pics!)!!!!

I picked up a used Sterling from fellow Ernie Baller (Bulltrout) this weekend! Spotless mint condition trans Teal H Sterling. Oh man is it nice!

I don't even know if it is worthy of my little punk rock band :D

Can't wait to use it in a jam situation.

And now with PICS!

Yup. those are Wonder wipes behind :)

It is seriously a work of art!

Only thing is the case looks brand new except for a large crack in it, I need to figure out what the hard shell cases are made from and find some epoxy.

Oh yeah, Maple Fretboard and Black Pickguard!

Hey, that was my bass until a couple of weeks ago!

I traded Chris so I could try out a new '08 MIA Fender Jazz.

That Sterling is a great bass. It was the first MM I bought. It should still look like new and probably has the fasted neck on any bass I have owned.

Oh, and the pickguard is a five layer B/W/B/W/B I bought for it from WD Music.

Enjoy it and give it a big hug from me!

That's awesome  this thing has been around, and it is in PERFECT shape. Now watch my F*ck it up at me first gig

The pickguard is REALLY nice, but I think I might put a clear one on (I like pictures)

My favorite looker is my '88 trans teal SR4...it is such a classy color, drives the ladies wild because it is "such a pretty color," yet it is very manly and different to see on stage...my trans teal came second hand with a clear pickguard...trans teal just doesn't look right to me with anything but a clear pickguard

I used to play a '99/'00 Sterling that looked just like that at a dealer in Atlanta all the time for about 3 years straight until they sold it...great bass

Sweet !
Not a bad pic, bet it looks real cool in real life. As per one of the other comments, a clear pic guard may be a neat option as well.
Enjoy....

Yeah, actually it shows a little darker in real life. I wanted to show off that great woodgrain!
