My niece is getting married tomorrow. Rehearsal dinner tonight and wedding fun tomorrow. Play the SBMM Silo in my avatar to keep the sanity in between :). Some nice sounds come out of that guitar. What a deal. The only thing missing on it is a Floyd.... :D

I'll be playing a gig with one of the bands I'm in. It will be our first. Standard bar fare, but looking forward to it. I'll be taking 2 JP's and a Y2D; I'll also be using amp modelling directly into the board for the first time...which feels weird, but we'll see how it goes.

For the first time in awhile, a nice and relaxing weekend at home! Planning on recording some new riffs I've come up with, not much aside from that. Peace all!

Well....nothing guitar related this weekend, but.....I recently sold my "toy" car and just got my new "toy" car on the road today. So I'm heading to Larz Anderson park in Brookline tomorrow morning for Cars and Coffee. Then maybe test driving a car to replace my daily driver next year and driving up to NH for a surprise birthday party and fireworks.

(takes a breath)

Then, if it's not raining, Sunday will be back to Brookline for Tutto Italiano (Italian car day) where they always have on the order of 100 Ferraris, 50 Lambos, etc for the day. The new toy is English, not Italian and only 2 seats and both kids want to go so I'll likely take my Subaru.....

I got you beat Jack! Tomorrow, I'm going to take my daughter for her swimming lesson and then I'm going to Home Depot for some outdoor light bulbs. Sunday is even better, grocery shopping for the week and then going to see the Smurfs movie! Jealous?

Just finished putting together my (music)man cave --pic attached. New house, and the wife decreed that all instruments/gear must be orderly/organized. Not sure what the builders had in mind for that closet/nook/alcove/whatever, but I think I'm putting it to pretty good use.

Past that not much. Gonna try to hit up the beach tomorrow before the heat index tops 100, maybe play some golf, definitely fire up the grill. My Big Poppa's order came in today. Can't wait to try some of this stuff out! (got the "best Friend package") Should be a pretty fun weekend.

Had an outdoor gig last night at a local community music in the park shows, tonight at The Dugout, a local pub. Been a busy week, 4 gigs in the past 7 days. Love to play but looking forward to nothing next weekend.
