Good to see you again...

Congrats on the graduation-to-be. I'm going back for my Master's in Cyber Security starting in January. I just hit the 25 year mark with the University in November and decided to go back to school.

Good to see you again as well, Merry Christmas to you and yours....

One thing I did notice about going to school at my age........it is much easier when your priorities aren't involving partying and scamming on the ladies :D It still amazes me that the younger kids have no problem texting and taking calls while in class

Merry and Happy Christmas to you all!

Just me and the wifey tonight. Got a Turkey breast in the oven, some stuffed artichokes a'steamin.' Add some scalloped potatoes and some egg nog, good stuff.

Hope everyone has a happy Eve and Christmas day.

Merry Christmas evryone and good choice of major.I will most likely be pursuing a Masters in that field as well. I'm graduating in June and while my degree is in Info Managment i've taken a heavy concentration of classes in Info Security and will be earning a couple of certifications(CNSS 4011,CNSS 4012) from the Federal Government as a result of it. There is alot of hiring going on in that field right now.

Well, now the bottles of Champagne are empty ...
Now it's time to go home. Not easy because the weather is quite bad and there is snow and black ice on the road. We are not canadians : when there is 1 centimeter of snow, the Frenchmen do not know how to drive !
Wish me good luck !

Thanks, i'm also one of the "old guys " at school. I seem to be a much better student now than I was 20 years ago. I guess it makes a difference whwen you're actually the one paying for it.

Exactly, I remember my first semester back in college, sitting in class listening to the Prof and some young kid just takes a call and starts talking.... now usually I'm a pretty mellow guy but I was so amazed at this lack of respect that I turned around and said "Listen, my mommy and daddy aren't paying for me to go to school like you, so hang up the damn phone!" The kid wouldn't even look at me, just turned bright red, the Professor liked it though and pulled me aside to thank me because whenever he asks for cell phones to be turned off, his requests fall on deaf ears.

Will have to bow out now, lots to do before midnight, and well into the third bottle:eek: Looking forward to tomorrow with the new amp, specially as the neighbours are away... Bye the way the amp is a Fender Mustang 1, 20w with the USB connection and FUSE software. Looking forward to experimenting with it.
Finally I'd like to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS:D
