Wow wow wow

Just managed to log in -
It was great to see the "party" carry on as long as it did. Nice one.
(what other forum could you do something like this B4 it turned all nasty?)

Thank you everybody for joining in. There will definitely be a #5 next year!! - & I look forward to seeing what 2011 has to offer.

Just gonna play my new DVD guitar tutorial by Doug 7 and try to learn some new fingerpicking licks.

I'll take account of whose posted up to here and in the next couple of days I'll announce the winners of the goodie bags.

Cheers again.
Spud

Be careful with that DVD Spud , I was learning some Doug Seven stuff on Youtube an hour before I chopped my finger off !!!!. Let me know how you get on with it, I may give it another go

Very nice !
But is it not difficult to find people for playing music ? Wikipedia (Elkford, British Columbia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) tells me that there are just 2500 people in Elkford.
But ok, you don't have pollution ... ;)

Yeah, honestly, sometimes it feels like there's less than a hundred people here...

Those were shot with the "blegh" stock lens on the original 2005 Rebel XT. I want to get another lens but it'll cost more than the camera's worth... Oh well.

Nice, the EVH Flanger is on my short list of pedals to pick up one day soon. I'll probably go for the phaser too, I have one of the orange 90's but like the switch on the new EVH model.

Did the neighbors mind?

Haha, not at all. There are a couple of aspiring club dj's and some members of a local 'emo-esque' band (safest description I could give them) close to me and they are pretty cool. Usually when it's warmer, I will open the garage door and jam out and several neighbors come by, share a few drinks, and hang out.

Have you looked into Tamron or Sigma lenses. I've got Tamrons for my Nikon and they are good quality. Canon's just like Nikon. Their lenses are way too expensive for my budget.

Yeah, I've looked into a few Sigmas. But I'm kinda saving for a *cough*M3*cough* right now, so... yeah. Also, I'm a student and owe too much money to the government. Jerks. :p

Here's what our back yard looked like on Christmas morning. This is just a light dusting for some of you, but here in the south it would've been enough to close all the schools for 2 days!

Being a guitar player...what's the absolute WORST present someone could give your kid? That's right...my in-laws got my 3 year old a kiddie drumset. LOL. I'm just kidding...she's had a blast with it. Here's a couple pics of us rocking out last night:

Nice photos - I'd love to wake up on Xmas morning and find that it had been snowing overnight.
You're right about the 2" of snow - that causes chaos over here 'cos we just aren't equipped to deal with it.

I understand NY has had quite a bit of snow?

Any NY'ers out there with photos to show the snow?

I'll get down to announcing the winners of the prizes tomorrow.

my son with his X-mas gift of last year.
Now, he is 8 years old ... he's getting stronger and stronger ... the drum is getting louder and louder :eek::eek:
I guess that next year he will ask for a double bass pedal

But Ok, I have to admit that it's nice to be able able to play Day Tripper with his son :)

Hahaha! Love it! The next addition will either be the double bass pedal or a gong! :D

Sir Spud. Sorry for missing the Party. One of my customers had a winch go out on his Tug boat so I to go deliver a new control panel. not fun on a cold and wet day on Puget sound and the girlfriend said no to signing in by proxy.
