You remember me posting my Precision Bass that I sold my Stingray for. I said I would be back in less than a month with a Ernie Ball. Well I sold the P, It was beautiful but missing something. By the way I did not plan for the cat to be in the picture. Right when I started takeing them he just jumped in and held onto it. P.S.. it looks alot better in person.

HEH Yea he was only 20$ at a flea market but he is pure white, well right now is really dirty because he spends all day playing in the woods by our house but he knows to come back before dark. He is like the Dog I never had. He was for an ex-girlfriend but when we broke up I made sure I got custody.\

As for the bass it plays GREAT super low action, however I find it is a little boomy, could be the strings and my amp settings. I can get rid of it but just flat its really bassy.

Now that is one hepcat man:cool: Looks like he is ready to play. Aapparently he prefers EBMM gear (was probably sending you subliminal messages all along) ;)

SPencer there is hope!

Ok here is what I have to tell anyone who changes from pasive to active. START OVER WITH YOUR EQ! Flat on the amp and flat on your bass. OUr bass with everything flat has a wider tonal set than a passive instrument.

SO many times here we hear guys say "the bass sounded good in the store but whenI hooked it up to my old rig it just want there......" There is no reason why one amp setting should work with all basses.

I always hear of dogs running when they hear bass. But never cats.. Why is that so? I cats just chill and get in the groove when I play.

Not so with my dog. When I go into the bedroom to practice he follows me in there, plops on the bed and falls asleep, not matter how loud I get. He truly loves it.

hey man, great looking sterling/pussy. P-basses are great for one thing.
That sterling has got a helluva lot more going on than any P I've ever played.
Now honestly, I'm a cat person, but if my cat was pawin' all over my basses, or my 1972 200A Wurlitzer...
I'd drop kick him through 8 or 9 lives.
