I was able to locate one of my "dream" EB guitars, and it finally arrived from Virginia. It's used, but very special to me.

Norm, please don't kill me

This is the first (and only) member of my collection. As it turns out, it was born on 6/15/01, and Dan dated that as being one of the first 50 produced. I got very lucky with this purchase. The 2nd member of my collection (not a JP) is on order. :D

It's a loaded Blue Dawn Petrucci. Inlays, matching headstock, piezo.
Beautiful guitar, and I believe I predicted this was Pete's secret!

Thanks guys! Yes, it certainly is a keeper. The trem does have some surface wear, and the frets need a dressing, so I will send it off to Jon for a pimp job next month. I've gotta play the thing for a while first!

This guitar sounds absolutely INSANE through my Soldano SLO, different from the other JPs at the store. I think the owner may have changed pickups, but I'm not positive. Maybe it's just my anxiety hyping up the tone a bit

Pete, very nice I know you'll enjoy it.

If I may, what did you pay for that bad boy?? Was that from a store or private sale??

Don't forget to post those pictures to the sticky.

Later, Glenn |B)

Glenn, it was a combination sale/trade that I did through the store. The former Blue Dawn owner got a very decent amount of cash, and a brandy-new Sapphire Black JP, matching headstock, no piezo, no inlays which also arrived today. He was a bit turned off by the inlays and didn't have a use for the piezo. Needless to say, I wanted his guitar in a bad way!

My initials are P J D so it almost works ;)

Pete,

Good.. now that your deal is done you can get back to business and update the EBMM pages on your site! ;)

That buttercream JP arrived a long time ago, didn't it? What about the other models you had on order? And more pics, dude! :D :D

Both the ButterCream JPs are gone, In the week I got in a Carbon Blue Pearl 6 loaded, Graphite Pearl 6 matched with inlays, PRB 7 with no piezo, Silo in Desert Gold w/ trem, ButterCream Silo stoptail, and 4 other JPs that have already sold, not to mention a few SUBs and some other ones that are slipping my mind. I really do need to update my inventory with some good pics, but it's so nice outside I'm gonna go weld the quarter panel on the 'Cuda, and do some photoshoots at night.

Pete,
Nice axe! Love that color. ;)

Oh well, it's all downhill from here. You start out with a JP and the next thing you know, you'll have to have that new Morse, and maybe a Silo, or Luke... It's a sickness I tell you.

My wife is realizing that she created a monster by encouraging me to pursue that life long dream... :D

congrats!!

Congrats buddy!!!! I'm glad you got that special JP you've been looking for. I'm also glad to hear your axes are flying out the door as quick as you get them. That's awesome. I too frequent your site and would like to see a update when you get the chance. :D

You may Live. I think that your guitar pictured with mine (rare sparkly loaded burnt apple pet) would make an awsome picture together.

Yeah, up until this point I have never personally owned one for my own use - just fooled around with the guitars at the store.
That's like being a pimp and a virgin at the same time...D'Oh! :D
