Thanks a bunch, everyone! It took a while to finalize the deal, but I'm glad I didn't let it slip past me.

Pete...It does look like the p/ups have been changed. Are those flat pole pieces?

Nope! I don't have a regular JP here to compare them with, but from what I can remember, these look different to me.

You may Live. I think that your guitar pictured with mine (rare sparkly loaded burnt apple pet) would make an awsome picture together.

Dude!
What you got is the shiznet! :)

Thanks NorM! I think it would make a great pic, too - as long as we dont try to keep one another's guitars afterwards :)

Congrats buddy!!!! I'm glad you got that special JP you've been looking for. I'm also glad to hear your axes are flying out the door as quick as you get them. That's awesome. I too frequent your site and would like to see a update when you get the chance. :D

Okie-dokie, guess I will be updating tomorrow night - I found a nice spot in the parking lot for outside shots, but I was a half hour too late for the right lighting :(

Good :) I can't wait to send it to ya, but I do wanna play it for a month or so first. It appears that the neck was sealed once before, is that something you guys did?
SN G15395

A few of the frets have noticeable string wear in them, you will have to let me know if they need to be replaced or just recrowned.... I'll email you when the time comes

Edit-
I popped off the control cavity cover, and there was still that plastic stuff under the screwheads - no signs of the circuitry being molested!

 I like that, a LOT! Congratulations on some good GAS there.

As soon as I saw the headstock, I thought it was handsigned............you can tell by the 'oh damn, another 36 headstocks to sign' signature that mine has too! I just checked my SN against yours and ther seems to be no order behind allocation as mine is G15857.

Hope you enjoy it.

Right, look how the "I" is dotted outside the swoop. On the screened sigs the dot is inside. I saw you mention that yours was also signed in the SN thread. Very cool :D

BD is soooo hard to capture just right in a picture, but that close up of the headstock is the best representation of the color I've ever seen.

Captures it poifectly.

Reminds me of my Luke...well, one of them anyway.

Am I reading this correctly?
I was under the impression that the signature on the headstock was a decal of silk screen.
Are they actually individually signed?

Here
There were some in the begining that were hand signed. I am not sure how many there were, something like 100 or 150. All the others are silk screened on the headstock

IIRC, the first 100 were hand signed by JP. 50 for the US market and 50 for the rest of the world.

From what Dan @ EB said, JP signed the first 50ish of both 6 and 7 string models.

Thanks! I usually just take some quick snapshots (like on page 1), but figured I may as well take some quality shots of this one. I did take a few photography courses a couple years ago, so I can pretend I know what I'm doing.

I'm heading outside in the good light to take pics of the instruments at the store so I can update the site tonight. Should be fun :D

Hey SteveB and francric....

I updated the EBMM section of my site, the only thing I didn't get to was the listing of instruments on order.

I still have about 12 instruments at the other store that I need to take pictures of. I hope you nags are finally satisfied :p

Pete,

I checked it out a few minutes ago.. I'm satisfied. ;)

Some very nice photos.. I like that spot in the parking lot.
The buttercream silo is a gem, I'd love to see that with a trem.

Thanks Steve! I have enough pictures to make a page for each instrument, which I may do on Tuesday night. Front/rear/neck shots of pretty much everything. The amount of birdseye on the Luke and Axis is sickening :)

And yes, that Butter Cream Silhouette is VERY nice. I think I have a Sterling on order in BC, too.
